Looking around her freshly cleaned house, Tonks smiled. She wasn't over obsessive when it came to cleaning, but she still liked her house to seem somewhat in order even if her life wasn't. It seemed with the order having to move to France over summer that her life had suddenly gone into overdrive. There never seemed to be anytime for just Tonks anymore. Closing her eyes, Tonks ran one of her small hands through her long hair.
Opening her eyes once again, Tonks smiled. There was no time to dwell on the negative effects of the move. Instead she decided she was going to focus on the positive. For example it was a beautiful day outside. The sun was high in the sky it was warm and there wasn't a cloud in sight. Making her way to the front door, Tonks slipped her small feet in a pair of flip flop sandals that were conveniently placed next to the door.
Like always when she wasn't at work, Tonks wore a pair of short jean shorts and a black tank top. Her long hair was pulled up into an elastic with pieces falling out to frame her small heart shaped face. Pushing the wooden door open, Tonks took a step outside. Just as her foot hit the first step, she looked up in time to realize the fact she was about to walk right into someone. A small squeak of surprise escaped past her lips. After a couple of seconds, Tonks startled to laugh slightly.
"You shouldn't sneak up on someone like that," she said looking up at the tall man standing in front of her. "One of these days someone might attack you if you keep doing that," she said jokingly.

Not having to work that day Nick was trying to deciside on what he should so. He knew that Tonks wasn't working either, and knew that she would most likely be alone today, so he deicided to get ready and go pay her a friendly vistit. Taking a shower, brushing his teeth, getting dress, then grabbing the keys to his car he headed out the door to benning the adventure he was going to have today. Much like Tonks, Nick wasn't wearing anything he would wear to work, he had on a pair of jeans with a bit of a wash look to them, and a polo shirt on.
As he pulled into her driveway, and headed up the steps as Tinks headed down, it wasx obvious to him that she didn't see him as she had almost ran into him. Tonks was speaking in English, Nick couls understand more of it, but he couldn't speak it really well, after having lived in France his whole life.
Smiling at her as he understood the mean point of what she told him. "I am, so sorrie ma chère. "he said with his true french acent. "I did not, mean to scare you." he added. "Je pense pas que quelqu'un vas m'attaquer, je suis si, how would you say.....nice?" he told her with a smile.
Stepping down a few stepps so that they weren't in each other's bubble, Nick smiled up at her. "I thought that i would...ummm...stop by pour un petie visit avec....how you say it...ummm...my good friend." he told her, unsure if he said that right or not. Nick was slowly learning more and more english, but he still was sure of it yet, he was much more comfiedent speaking french. "Si, sa c'est correct avec toi?" he added.

Smiling, Tonks crossed her arms over her chest. She had learned some French back in England, but not very much. However ever since she had been in France, her French skill had defiantly been improving and she could now understand basically everything that was being said around her. Smiling as she listened to Nick, Tonks couldn't help but be amused by his French accent.
"It's alright," she said with a small smile. "I wasn't that scared," she admitted shrugging her thin shoulders lightly. Tonks laughed at his next comment. "Yes you are nice," she said agreeing. "Mais quelqu'un qui ne sais pas qui tu es, va peut-être t'attaquer," Tonks said deciding she might as well practice her French considering she was in France.
Listening to what else Nick was saying, Tonks tried to keep a straight face. he was trying to speak English which she thought was excellent, but she found it slightly amusing the way he stumbled through his sentences. The reason she found this amusing was because most of the time what Nick said was right, he just was self-conscious. But then again, Tonks herself was self-concious about her French.
"Oui c'est correct," Tonks said with a small smile answering Nick in French. Smiling, tonks walked down to the bottom of the stairs. Her feet now resting on the gravel, Tonks turned to look back up at Nick. "C'mon," she said her British accent strong once again. "I was just going to go around to the back," she said gesturing for him to follow her.

As Tonks turned to him and told him that she was just about to go around back, and asked him to join her he smiled. "Ok, je vien, " he said. He decided to switch back to french for a bit, manly because he found it easier. Walking down the steps that he just walked up, Nick joined up with Tonks as she walked around back. "So...er...what have you been up to..lately..?" he asked, he's french acent strong once again. Nick looked down at her with a smile as he waited for her responce. As they kept walking he continued to smile.

Tonks smiled as Nick caught up to her. As they walked around the house to the back, Tonks remembered she was supposed to water the plants that day. And well considering she was headed that way, she decided to do that now. As Nick asked what she had been up to, Tonks shrugged her thin shoulders. "You know a bit of this and a bit of that," She said with a smile looking up at Nick. "I've been rather busy with work lately and this is my first day off in a while." She shrugged her shoulders again lightly as she turned to grab the garden hose. "What about you?" Tonks asked as she turned the tap to the hose on.
Smirking Slightly as she turned around, Tonks held the hose in one had. It was one full blast, and she had a sudden evil idea pop into her mind. "What would you do if I sprayed this at you?" She asked, Smiling deviously. Waiting for an answer, Tonks sprayed the water just beside Nick's feet. Chances were that if she sprayed him however, that he would just take it from her and soak her.. but she didn't mind.
