It was Wednesday, and not many people were outside as most people had to work. The sun was high in the sky and there wasn't a cloud anywhere in sight. Birds could be heard chirping in the distance which was a bit odd considering they were standing in the middle of a busy city.
Like most days she didn't have to work, Fleur was dressed in pair of jean shorts and a white strapless top. She had a white hand bag draped over her shoulder and her long blond hair was pulled back loosely into an elastic.
Today, Fleur was out shopping in downtown Paris with her younger sister. It was nice considering they really hadn't gotten to see much of each other in while. Stopping in front of a large window, Fleur gazed into the store. The display held different shoes and articles of clothing.
"Gabby, vhat about these?" Fleur said. She had been practicing her english, but her words still held a thick accent on them. Turning to look at her sister, Fleur waited for an answer.

She skipped along her sister in the busy city. She really liked spending time with her sister...but sadly it doesn't happen often. She is always off to school, and Fleur is usually at work when Gabby comes home for a break. Today was a day that her and her sister could just spend time together. And she liked it very much.
Gabby stopped skipping and just walked, looking for same things. She saw birds, cars, street signs, and her sister. She also saw other people. She then saw a nice store in front of her. It looked like a clothes store. She admired the dresses when they passed it.
Gabby had on a school skirt that went up to her knees and a white blouse. She had on white stockings and black buckle shoes. Her hair was put up into a ponytail to match her sisters. She was going to bring a coat, but then she decided against it as it was such a lovely day.
When her sister turned to look through the window of a shoe shop, Gabby turned around too. She looked at the shoes. There were glass slippers, slippers, tennis shoes, high-heels, kids play shoes, fancy shoes, sandals, and flip-flops. She saw a pair of pure glass slippers. "Oh...I love them! They are all so pretty!" She replied to her sister, staring into the window.

Watching her sisters reaction, Fleur couldn't help but smile. It was true, the shoes were in fact very beautiful. Gazing back into the window, Fleur brushed a piece of stray blond hair out of her eyes with one hand. Looking back down at her sister, Fleur smiled.
"Well come on then silly..." She said taking her sister by the hands and pulling her after. "Lets go try the shoes on." Leading her sister to the front door of he shop, Fleur bushed it open holding it open until Gabby had walked through it.
Closing the door softly behind her, it took Fleur a moment to get used to the dim light in the store. Once her eyes had adjusted, she looked around the store. Making her way over to her sister, Fleur smiled.
"What ones do you want to try first?" Fleur asked looking at her sister. As Fleur waited for an answer, she let her eyes travel around the store seeing what exactly there was in there from them to try on.

She smiled at her sister and got pushed into the store, clinging onto her sisters hand. She walked through the door, smiling. She blinked a little, with the dim light. She rubbed her eyes, and then waited for Fleur to come in next to her. She held her sisters hand, looking around for something to try on.
When her sister came in, she smiled. She looked around the old shop. She couldn't see anyone at the counter, but the store was packed. She smiled, and saw those pair of shoes she liked. They were so pretty. She wanted them so bad, and she knew she wouldn't regret getting those.
"I want to try those ones on!" She said playfully, and pointed toward the glass high-heels slippers. She stood there as her sister looked around. She rolled her eyes, and then ran over to it herself, and as someone stuck out their leg to put on shoes, she jumped over it but her feet landed on a shoe box and it wobbled a little, and then she fell backward.
She shrieked as she fell on her back. She snapped her hands up to her face and she shut her eyes closed. I am a turtle...no one can see me. I am hiding. I am a turtle...no one can see me. I am hiding. She thought. Then she calmed down, and opened her eyes, and took away her hands, but then gasped and shut her eyes back closed and snapped her hands back over her face, again think she was a turtle.

Looking in the direction that her sister indicated, Fleur saw the shoes that Gabby was looking at. As Gabby ran off a head, Fleur laughed, the girl honestly had to much energy sometimes. Walking slowly, Fleur made her way over to where her sister was headed.
Letting her eyes wander once again, Fleur's attention was caught by the sound of Gabby shrieking. Turning to look in the direction that Gabby was, Fleur saw her sister tumble backward off the pile off shoes. As the boxes and her sister hit the ground, Fleur basically ran the rest of the way to get to her sister.
"Gabby," she said reaching her sisters side. "Gabby ma bell, are you alright?" Fleur asked noticing her sister hand her hands over her face. Quickly stacking the boxes that had fallen again, Fleur extended her hand to help her sister up.
Fleur sighed quietly, people were slowly turning back to their own business and not looking at them anymore, but Gabby was still holding her hands over her eyes. Taking a pair of shoes out of the pile that were Gabby's size, Fleur turned back to her sister.
"C'mon," Fleur encouraged. "No one is looking at you anymore," she said softly. Offering her hand to her sister once again, Fleur waited patiently for her sister to get up.

She opened her eyes and let her hands go back down to her sides. She then sat up, and was blushing a deep red. "I am so clumsy..." She whispered softly. She looked around, and saw that no one was looking. She had a sigh of relief.
She helped stack up the boxes back up. She was still scarlet red. She looked at her sister, well, beyond her sister and saw the shoes. Those are so pretty! She thought, almost forgetting about her accident.
She saw that her sister had something in her hand. "Fleur...what is that in your hand?" She asked. She tried to see what was in her hand, but the lights were too dim. She then felt a feeling someone was looking at her again. She didn't dare do her turtle face though...too embarrassing.
She looked at her sister. "Thanks for helping me." She said to her sister. She gave her sister a hug, and then saw that she was holding shoes. She let go and smiled. "What are those in your hand?" She asked.

Fleur smiled, glad that her sister had finally decided to sit up and not continue hiding like a turtle. "Don't worry. I'm clumsy too," Fleur said as Gabby said that she was clumsy. As Gabby helped stack the boxes, Fleur smiled.
As Gabby asked what was in her hand, Fleur was about to answer, but didn't get the chance before Gabby was thanking her for helping. "That's what I'm here for," Fleur said with a smile as she returned her sisters hug.
"These?" Fleur said holding out the box. "Well they're shoes," she said simply taking her sisters hand again. "The ones you were looking at to be exact. And if they fit, we might just have to get them," Fleur added smiling down at her sister as she lead Gabby to the nearest empty seat.

She looked t her sisterand smiled. "Really? But your half Veela...how can you be clumsy?" She asked Fleur. She shrugged it off and th feeling of someone watching her left her body. She felt safe with her sister around.
She listened to her sister talk. "I wish I could help you with some things..." She sighed. She wasn't much of a help for her sister, yet her sister always seemed to help her. She smiled. She watched the sun outside ou of the window.
Her eyes lightened up as her sister showed her. "Really! OH, can I have them! Please!" She said and sat down. She flipped off her shoes and then slipped the other ones on.
