The night was silent, not a sound other than that of the wind could be heard through the open windows into Kirsten Fraser's bedroom. It was a relatively calm night but the clouds kept covering the moon with the promise of a growing storm. Kirsten herself had finally shut the lights off and crawled under the covers of her large over stuffed bed around 12 am. She had wanted to talk to her brother and had hoped he was going to come home tonight, but he hadn't so she had given up and finally gone to bed. As the minutes, ticked by, Kirsten tossed and turned in her bed, a slave to the nightmare that had captured her. As the dream became more violent, Kirsten trashed about, twisting herself in the blankets on her bed. A rumble of thunder could be heard across the grounds of the Fraser Manor, followed shortly by a flash of light.
The wind was picking up and starting to blow leaves and other small objects around the lawn. In the mean while, Kirsten nightmare still had a tight on her. Small screams escaped past her pale pink lips. Kirsten continued to toss and turn until the storm grew to the point where the thunder sounded like a cannon had gone off. As the thunder clapped once again, Kirsten sat abruptly up in bed, a scream passing through her lips. A cold sweat had broken out over her brow and she was shaking uncontrollably. Pushing the covers off, Kirsten stepped out of bed at the next flash of light and closed the windows across from her bed. Opening her bedroom door, Kirsten stepped out into the hall and walked quickly toward the stairs. She was still shaking and her teeth were chattering, but the sweat had disappeared. Running down the stairs, Kirsten made her way into the living room.
Throwing the curtains closed, the large living room became darker than it had been a few seconds ago as the light from the moon no longer shone in through the large windows. By glancing at the grandfather clock across the room from her, Kirsten saw that it was just after 2 am. She had only just fallen asleep a few hours ago, but she had woken suddenly with a fright. She feared something was wrong but she wasn't sure what. Standing in the middle of the dark room, Kirsten took a deep breath closing her eyes. She was still dressed in her green flannel pajama bottom and a black tank top. she had pulled her hair messily up into and elastic, and her eyes probably had bags under them. She could tell without even looking that her older brother wasn't home - but then again he never was. He always worked all night.
Walking into the kitchen, Kirsten flipped the light switch on. However with the next clap of thunder, the lights flickered once and then out. Closing her eyes, Kirsten took a deep breath. "Damnit," she cussed under her breath. Rubbing her hands across her tired eyes, Kirsten sighed in frustration. Although she probably would never admit it, Kirsten was terrified of storms and it defiantly didn't help that her brother wasn't home. opening her eyes, Kirsten grabbed a book of matches out of the cupboard. Making her way back into the living room, Kirsten wandered over to the fireplace. Kneeling down, she placed some wood in the fire place along with some paper. Lighting the fire with one of the matches, Kirsten then placed the book of matches on the coffee table. Placing a bigger piece of wood on the fire, Kirsten stood up.
Moving over to the couch, Kirsten grabbed a blanket that she had left there from earlier that night. She didn't figure she'd be able to fall back asleep, and didn't know when the power would come back on. Sitting down, Kirsten wrapped the big blanket around herself as she shivered slightly. Closing her eyes at the next rumble of thunder, Kirsten opened them once again as the lightning flashed. Who knew how long the storm would go on or how long she would be left alone. Kirsten only hoped that someone would show up and keep her company in this storm. Sitting there in silence, Kirsten's mind wandered back to the dreams she had been having before she woke. They had been odd and she didn't quite understand them. Kirsten shivered once again, not only from the cold, but the memories as well.

Not being able to sleep that night Breaden lied in his bed wide awake, simply just thinking about things and watching the lightning as it flashed through the air. As he continued to watch and listen to the storm that was going on outside a sudden thought of Kirsten ran through his mind. He remembered that she hated them. Smiling, Brae thought of a devious plan that he could do to her knowing that she would be wide awake and already scared out of her mind.
Climbing out of bed, putting on his shirt and pajama pants, as Brae always sleeps in just his boxers, he headed out his room and down to the front door. Putting his shoes on and grabbing his cell phone and car keys he headed out the door. Once he was in the car he began to drive to Kirsten's house. Knowing that she would be home alone because Jacey worked nights, Brae couldn't help but feel a bit evil. He knew she would probably be mad at him, for a whole 5 seconds, but he couldn't help himself.
As he pulled into the driveway, turning off the car light and trying to be quiet so she wouldn't know he was here he smiled. Turning off the car and putting it in park, Brae picked up his phone and dialed her number. As the phone rang, and he waited for her to pick up, he was trying not to laugh to give it away. Hearing someone pick up the phone, he waited for her to say hello. As he continued to wait for a bit the storm continued to grow.
Hearing her little scared voice say hello, Brae waited a few minutes before saying anything. In a different voice Brae began to talk. "Are you home alone?" he started. Waited a few seconds before continuing he had to control himself from laugh. "You better check if the doors are locked." he added, then hung up the phone.
Knowing that it would scare her, Brae smiled, but at the same time felt bad for what he did. Also knowing that she wouldn't get up from where ever it was she was sitting just yet Brae got out of his car, closed the door quietly and walked up to the front door. Waiting for a few minutes he stood there and wondered what she was doing.
He then began to knock at the door, which he never did. After knocking a few time really loud, he walked in closing the door quietly behind him. Taking his shoes off her placed his car keys and phone on the little table and locked the door. Walking out into the hallway, looking down each way brae noticed a glare from a light coming from the living room. Quietly making his way down there, he stood in the door way, not saying anything for a few minutes.
Brae decided not to let her know just yet that he was there, using that same different voice the he had used on the phone, he began to talk. "Scared are we?" he said, and nothing more.
((Not Godmoding, had permission.))

((You watch way to many movies )) As the storm grew more violent outside the windows of the manor, Kirsten pulled the blanket tighter around herself. It still felt as though something was wrong, but she couldn't quite place her finger on it. Still shaking, Kirsten jumped at ever small sound she heard. Closing her blue eyes, Kirsten took a deep breath trying to calm herself. Why was she could do anything she wanted with no fear yet ever since she could remember, she's had this strange fear of storms. Well it wasn't really strange- after all, her brothers had tormented her and locked her out of the house during a really bad storm when she had been younger.
Lost in her thoughts, Kirsten at first didn't even hear the phone ringing beside her. Even if she had been paying attention, the blond probably wouldn't have noticed that there was a car coming up the drive as the room she was in faced the back of the house. Slowly coming out of her daze, Kirsten realized what was going on. Grabbing the phone beside her on the table, Kirsten pushed the talk button. Not hearing anything, the blond frowned slightly. "Hello," She asked quietly, her voice probably sounding scared to the person on the other line. Pushing a stray piece of hair out of her eyes, Kirsten waited for the person on the other side to talk.
"Are you home alone?" Kirsten didn't answer not sure what she would say. "You better check if the doors are locked." Then the person on the other side of the phone hung up. Kirsten froze the phone still next to her ear, the buzzing noise that always happens once someone had hung up, ringing in her ear. Slowly she took the phone down from her ear and pushed the end button. Placing the phone on the coach next to her, Kirsten glanced around the room, her heart up in her throat.
Not bothering to get up, Kirsten knew for fact that all the doors to the manor were locked. But then again if the person really wanted in why would they even tell her to check the locks, chances are they'd be able to get in somehow anyways. Thinking that it might just be some prank, Kirsten relaxed slightly. However, it still felt as though something was wrong. Her wand was upstairs on her dresser drawer - a wonderful place for it indeed but no one ever looked in her stuff - well except for Brae.., but he was just annoying.
Siting silently. Kirsten pulled her knees up to her chest. Her mind had momentarily calmed at the thought of it all being a prank, but slowly the thoughts of it not were coming back into her mind. Not hearing the front door open and close, Kirsten had no idea that anyone was in the house. Staring blankly into the fire Kirsten tried to forget the phone call and convince herself that nothing was going to happen. "Scared are we?"
Kirsten jumped, causing herself to fall off of the coach. It was the same voice as the one that had been on the phone. She had hit her head on the floor but that didn't matter now. All that mattered was she was in a room with someone she had no idea of who it was. Taking a deep breath, Kirsten moved so she could look at the person on the other side of the room. She glared at the person trying not to jump up and kill them.
"I'm going to get you for this," Her voice was cold and threatening as she threw a pillow at the figure across the room. "You know I'm already freaked out in storms enough Brae. What bloody evil thing would posses your mind to the point that you would do that?" She asked still sitting on the ground. Sighing quietly out of annoyance Kirsten didn't move from her spot on the ground. "I knew I should never have given you that key," she said rolling her icy blue eyes.

(( i know i do, but i love them so much!!!!!))
Brae began to laugh as Kirsten had jumped off the couch on to the floor. As she threw the pillow at him, he caught it and moved toward the couch. "Ya i know you will, but you also know i love being in trouble and being punished." he smiled. Listening to the rest of what she had to say, Brae shook his had and continued to smile at her. "Well does the fact the I'm a Death Eater, and the fact that i like scaring people, work as an answer to the question?" he told her.
Sitting down on the couch Brae smiled down at her. "You gave me that key, cause you knew that it would come in handy. Even if you didn't give me the key i could still get in." he said in all honesty. "I'm sorry if i scared you. But it was fun, and i do love you very much." he said and leaned over and kissed the top of her head.
Replacing himself back against the back of the couch he sighed a bit. "I couldn't sleep, i was lying wide awake in bed, and knew you wouldn't be sleeping, so i decided to come and keep you company." he told her, "Manly because i knew you hate to be alone in a storm, and because i missed you." he smiled placing his arms along the back of the couch.
The storm was still going on, and Brae loved it. The noises, the lightning, everything. Sitting there staring into the fire that Kirsten had started, Brae smiled. "So what's my punishment?" he asked. Brae loved being punished, he really didn't care anymore, he was more interested in finding out what it was the punishment would be. Leaving Kirsten on the ground, Brae looked down at her and waited for an answer. He figured she'd get up when she wanted to.

Still sitting on the ground, Kirsten looked up at Brae as he walked over sat down on the coach. Leaning back on her hands, she listened to what he was saying. Rolling her eyes at the first comment, Kirsten stood up and walked over to the fire, still listening to Braeden. Placing another log on the fire, Kirsten turned back to face the annoying figure sitting where she had been. Pushing her hair behind her ear she sighed.
"No that's not a good answer Braeden Jackson," Kirsten said using his full name, and sure sign that she was at least mildly annoyed with him. "And being a Death Eater is by no means an excuse, you now just as well as the next that I"m one to, and I love the thril of scaring some muggle lover. But nope, you need a better reason then that," the small bland said making her way back over to the coach. Picking up the blanket that had fallen to the ground, Kirsten glanced out the window. Why couldn't the storm just pass already?
"You locked the doors right?" Kirsten asked looking at Brae. She was still a bit freaked out with everything that had happened that night, and defiantly Brae had been no help. As if remembering that she was supposed to be mad at him, Kirsten hit him in the shoulder with the back of her hand, making a slapping noise. "Jerk," she mumbled sitting down on the other side of the coach.
Narrowing her eyes, Kirsten wondered what the price would be if she killed him there and now. He was so smug! Pulling her knees up to her chest once again, Kirsten wrapped the blanket tightly around herself once again. "You lucky I love you," Kirsten said in response to his next statement. "And your also lucky my wand is upstairs," she commented lightly though her voice held the tone of threat and revenge.
At his next comment, Kirsten was tempted to hug him, but stayed on her side of the coach. Let him come to me she thought evilly, determined she wasn't going to give into the figure beside her. Though Kirsten knew it wouldn't last long. Either she would gave or Brae would attack her a force her to sit with him... either way she didn't care.
"I haven't decided what your punishment will be,," Kirsten said softly. "But I will tell you something Jackson. It will be good and when you aren't expecting it," She smirked coldly. Leaning back against the arm of the coach, Kirsten gave Brae a challenging look, indicating that she was to damn stubborn to move and if he wanted her he'd have to come and get her.

Brae sat there on the couch listening to what Kirsten was telling him, as she told him that his reasons weren't good enough he slightly shrugged his shoulders. "Well then i really don't know why i did it." he told her honestly. He never really had a reason for why he did anything, he just did it because he could.
"Of coarse i locked them, I'm not that stupid. Don't say anything." he said as she hit him and called him a jerk, "I guess i deserved that, and thank you, i know i can be one." he added with a slight smile. Sitting on the opposite side of the couch as Kirsten Brae looked over at her as she talked, "Ya you're right I am lucky you love me, because i wouldn't want anyone else to, because there's no one better then you for me." he told her. He honestly felt that, and wasn't lying.
"I like surprises, " he stated, "I don't mind waiting." he added with a smile. Brae looked at Kirsten, he saw the stubborn look in her eyes, and knew what it meant. He didn't feel like sitting alone on the couch, so either he picked her up and moved her, or he would simply just leave if she didn't want to do anything. And if she was going to be mad at him all night about that one little thing, then he would leave and return back to his house.
Grabbing Kirsten by the foot, Brae smiled at her. He gently pulled her closer to him. When he was able to pick her up with his hands he did and placed her on his lap. Wrapping his arms around her he gave her a big hug. "I'm sorry if i scared you, please forgive me and don't make this night a complete living hell." he told her then gently placed a soft kiss on her lips.

"Aw," Kirsten said as Brae finished saying that she was the only one for him. "Thats so cute love," she added smiling. "And even though I'm touched by what you just said, you still in my bad book right now," she said teasingly, a smirk forming across her pink lips. Kirsten felt like moving over to sit next to Brae, but she still wasn't done playing with his mind. She wanted to see if she could make him beg.
At Brae's comment about liking surprises, Kirsten felt like strangling him again. She didn't know why, but for some reason that night, she found herself much more violent toward her boyfriend than normal. Crossing her ankles, Kirsten waited to see what Brae would do. For some reason that she didn't know, Kirsten found herself purposely acting stubborn - well then again it was Kirsten.
Feeling Brae grab her ankle, Kirsten looked him directly in the eye. She had no doubt that he would make her sit with him, but she had expected it it take longer. As she felt Brae start to pull on her leg gently, she didn't resist, but neither did she help him in anyway. She could feel herself being pulled closer to him, and then, Kirsten felt Brae wrap his arms around her and pick her up. She figured he was going to put her on his lap, and sure enough no sooner had he picked her up, had he placed her on his lap.
Trying not to laugh, Kirsten looked Brae once again straight in the eyes. She could feel his arms wrap around the outside of the blanket, and around her, as Brae gave her a big hug. She would have hugged him back, had her arms been free, but at the moment, she was wrapped up in a cocoon of blankets. Kirsten heard what Brae said, then felt him place a soft kiss on her soft lips.
Pulling away, Kirsten smirked. "But what if I enjoy making your life a living hell?" She asked, squirming slightly as she tried to get free of the blankets. Placing her forehead on his, Kirsten waited for an answer. In all honesty, she was feeling safer now that she was in his arms, and not by herself in the dark house. The heat from the fire was finally starting to reach where they sat as she waited for an answer. Poking Brae in the ribs as she got her arms free from the blanket, she smirked.
"Fine I forgive you," she said rolling her eyes as she placed her head lightly on his shoulder. Looking up at him, she smiled. Why was it she couldn't stay mad at him for longer than a couple of minutes?

Sitting there with Kirsten in his arms sitting by the light of the fire, Brae thought that nothing could be better at the moment. "Well even if you, please don't, or I'll leave you all alone in the dark house during i storm, which i know you love so much." he told her with a playful smile. Brae knew she hated to be left alone during a storm, yet still found it amusing to use that against her.
Still holding her in a hug as she placed her head on his shoulder, Brae gently kissed the top of her head, then placed his own on her. "Well that didn't take long, what? is it too hard to stay mad at me?" he stated as she told him she forgave him. Brae knew that it was hard for her to stay mad at him for more then a few minutes, and he found that rather amusing.
Brae had zoned out again staring at the fire as he waited for her to say something. Getting g a bit tired as it was close to three in the morning now, Brae didn't bother to say anything though. He figured if he was going to fall asleep he would right there.

"You wouldn't dare leaving me alone in the storm," Kirsten said narrowing her eyes once again at Brae. "Oh of course I love being left alone in storms," Kirsten said sarcastically rolling her eyes. Squirming the rest of the way out of the blanket that was still wrapped around her, Kirsten proceeded to place the blanket around both her and Brae.
Wrapping her thin arms around Brae, Kirsten felt him lie his head on hers. Listening to what he was saying, she laughed softly. "Shut up," she said still laughing. "It's not like I want to be mad at you," she explained. "Plus, when you haven't really done anything to hurt me or something like that, ya it is hard to stay mad at you," Kirsten added softly. Kirsten knew that it was sad that she couldn't stay mad at Brae, but then again would she really want to?
Drifting off into her thoughts, the small blond couldn't help but wonder when her older brother would get home, or when the storm would finally blow itself out, or even still, when the power would come back. Sighing quietly, Kirsten stared into the fire. Brae wasn't saying anything, and she wondered if he had fallen asleep. Glancing up at him, she noticed that he too was only zoned out, but she figured he would probably fall asleep.
Glancing at the big grandfather clock, Kirsten noticed it was in reality 3:15 am. She sighed, the dreams that had awoken her earlier were still on her mind, but she didn't want to talk about them - at least not yet. Shivering slightly, Kirsten glanced at the fire which was starting to go down. Sighing quietly, Kirsten found that she really didn't was to get up. So pointing her finger at a log of wood, she silently levitated it into the fire. Thank God for Wandless Magic, she thought.
Looking back at Brae, Kirsten couldn't help but smile. He was so cute in his semi-conscious state. "You gonna fall asleep on me?" She asked softly, wrapping her arms tighter around him. Tilting her head, Kirsten waited for an answer. Unconsciously, she lightly twirled her finger on the side of Brae's stomach. Yawning, she raised a hand to cover her mouth before replacing it around Brae. In all honesty, she too was getting a bit tired.
As if suddenly remembering something- which she had, Kirsten sat up straight. "Brae," Kirsten said softly getting his attention. "What were you and Jacey talking about yesterday at the Tavern?" She asked. Waiting for an answer, Kirsten looked directly into Brae's eyes.

"Of coarse i wouldn't you know that." he stated. "Why do you think i came over love?" he added then smiled. Listening slightly to Kirsten as she explained to him why she couldn't stay mad at him, Brae was starting to zone out a bit more. He was indeed tired as it was 3:15 in the morning. Hearing Kirsten ask a question Brae kind of came back down to earth. "No i wont, well not yet atleast." he stated back to her.
Feeling Kirsten sit up straight and asking him another question mad Brae jump a bit as she wasn't expecting her to more so fast. "I told you already. We were talking about old friends, and our life's now, and back when Jacey was at school. And how i'm gonna make sure i leave, and no one will ever forget me." he told her. He wasn't lying but clearly she didn't believe him. He knew he was leaving something out, but he wasn't quite ready to ask her, or tell her about that yet. "Oh and he was just asking how our relationship was going." he added as an after thought.
As he finished talking he moved around a bit on the couch taking Kirsten with him so that he was semi lying down. He unconsciously ran a hand through his hand, then re placed it. As he waited for Kirsten to answer him he began to zone out again.

Kirsten giggled quietly as Brae came back down to Earth. She could tell he was tired and felt slightly guilty for keeping him up this late. If it hadn't been for the damn storm, Kirsten figured she would have been fine. But all the same, she was happy that Brae was there with her. Smiling, Kirsten gently placed a small hand on Brae's cheek and gently with her thin index finger traced his jaw line and down his neck to his shoulder.
"I see," Kirsten said quietly as Brae said he wasn't going to fall asleep or at least not yet. "I don't quite believe you Jackson," Kirsten said her voice still quiet, but teasing. Noticing that Brae jumper slightly as she sat up, Kirsten giggles once again. "Sorry," She said in a whisper, trying to stop laughing. Managing to stop the giggles, Kirsten wasn't able to keep the smile off her face.
Listening to what Brae was saying, Kirsten nodded her head slowly. she knew he wasn't lying with what he had told her, but she felt as though he was leaving something out. Sighing, Kirsten didn't ask any more question, but she still found it irritating that Brae wasn't telling her everything. "Just don't try to burn the school down like Jacey did ok?" Kirsten asked not sure exactly what Brae was planning on doing for his big finally.
Glancing around the large room, Kirsten zoned out a bit herself. However, at his comment about Jacey asking how their relationship was going, Kirsten turned back to face Brae, looking him once again in the eyes. She could feel Brae moving then around, but she wasn't sure to what point until he stopped. However, once he had she understood what he was doing.
"And what did you tell my brother about our relationship?" Kirsten asked slightly worried that Brae might have said something that she hadn't wanted him to. After all, Brae and Jacey were best friends, and friends told each other things - Even when they weren't supposed to. Still looking at Brae, Kirsten waited for an answer.

Still zoned out, Brae didn't move much. His eyes were some what closed now but he was still awake. As he heard Kirsten ask him what he had told Jacey about their relationship he smiled. He could either tell her the truth, or tell her complete opposite. Deciding to tell her the truth seeing how he was in enough trouble with her right now, he opened his eyes fully to see her looking him directly in his own.
"I told him that it was good and strong, and no one and nothing, no matter how hard they tried could break that." he told her. It was in fact true. Their relationship was the strongest one he new of, they were the best of friends, and the best of soul mates, nothing could change that, at least he thought, and hoped.
"So love, think of my punishment yet?" he asked curiously. Brae enjoyed Kirsten's punishments for some reason or another. As he waited for her to answer he slowly zoned out again, parsley closing his eyes again.

Listening to what Brae said he had told her older brother, Kirsten didn't doubt him at all. She couldn't help but smile as Brae said he had told Jacey that their relationship was strong than ever. She was glad he thought so because she defiantly did, and didn't want anything to ever happen between them. "Awww..." Was all Kirsten could manage to say, as she suddenly found herself at a lose for words. "Damn you Braeden way is it you always make me speechless?" Kirsten asked after a few minutes, the smile still tugging at the corners of her soft pink lips.
As Brae asked if she had thought of his punishment yet, Kirsten smiled. She had in fact finally come up with something that she thought would make her life a bit more interesting - at least for the time being. "Yes I have," Kirsten said looking into Brae's eyes once again, her own eye shinning mischievously. Pushing the blanket off of herself, Kirsten stood up and walked over to the fire. Kneeling down, she placed four logs on the fire so that she wouldn't have to worry about it again that night and could just let it die down. Standing back up, Kirsten turned around smirking.
Making her way back over to the coach, Kirsten sat down next to Brae. Swinging her legs up onto the coach, she buried herself under the huge blanket once again and turned so she was facing Brae. Placing her head under his chin, Kirsten sighed quietly. "Starting tomorrow morning you are going to be my personal slave. And you will stay that way until I become bored a release you," Kirsten said quietly, but her tone carried the air of threat and revenge. Closing her eyes, Kirsten could tell that Brae was zoning out again, but then again, so was she.
The storm was still blowing outside, but Kirsten felt safer now that Brae was there. The heat from the fire had finally reached them and Kirsten was glad for that. Who knew how long the power would be out. Closing her eyes, Kirsten felt herself slowly zoning out. The house was silent apart from the ticking of the clock and Brae's breathing next to her ear. After a few more minutes, Kirsten was asleep, however, the nightmares that had haunted her earlier that night were still vivid in her mind.
Just over two hours had passed before the nightmares came back again. Only this time they were different. First they started off semi ok, but as Kirsten remained asleep, the nightmares became increasingly worse. Small screams and whimpers of fear passed through her lips. She wanted to wake up, but she couldn't. No matter how she tried, the nightmare wouldn't let go of her. Screams of fear where still passing through her lips and tears started to run down her cheeks. And then all was black.
Kirsten sat straight up, as one last cry of fear left her lips. Her cheeks were damp and stained from the tears and once again she was shaking like a leaf. Wrapping her arms around herself, Kirsten placed her forehead on her knees. Still shaking uncontrollably, Kirsten slowly started to breath. In 1-2-3 Out 1-2-3, she kept telling herself trying to get her emotional state under control once again. She didn't know why she was suddenly being haunted by her nightmares as she hadn't had them since she had been little. However, they usually meant something - if only she knew what. Still shaking, the small blond still wasn't all that aware of what was going on around her.

Braeden came back down to earth as he listened to Kirsten tell him what he punishment was to be. He gave a slight smile, and slightly shook his head, "Alright seems a bit fair, and sounds like fun." he told her then sat there in quiet and watched her fall asleep. He was glad she did, because he thought that she would never in this storm.
Brae gently placed her head on a pillow and put the blanket around her. Shortly after that he fell asleep himself. Only to be woken up a few hours later. He hear her give a little scream not really knowing if she was asleep or not, then felt her sit up. Sitting up he saw her all crunched up in a little ball. "Love what's wrong?" he asked, curious to know what was going on, why she had been screaming. He gently took his hand and lifted her head up from on her knees. Then took his hand and gently wiped the bits of tears that were on her cheeks.

Still shaking, Kirsten didn't feel Brae sit up beside her. Why was it nightmares were always haunting her? Kirsten was unaware that Brae was even awake until she felt him life her head up off of her knees. She was still shaking of course, but his hands were warm and stable, causing her calm down slightly. She had heard him ask what was wrong, but it was only know registering that he had wanted an answer. Taking a deep breath, Kirsten swallowed hard, and Shook her head slowly.
"It was..." Kirsten paused closing her eyes. "It was just a dream..." Kirsten said slowly as she felt Brae's hand whip the tears off of her cheeks. "A horrible one," she whispered, not sure if Brae had heard her. "But just a dream," Kirsten said again more to reassure herself then anything. "Taking another slow deep breath, Kirsten was starting to notice everything that was going on around her. She was still shaking uncontrollably as she placed her forehead back on her knees. She was suddenly very cold, but she didn't want to show that a nightmare had got the better of her.
