Zara sat once again at the bar of the poisen apple. She was hoping to come across the owner, Jacey Fraser. She swept her long black and silver hair out of her face. Her eyes were bright, as she took a sip of butterbeer.

Rubbing his eyes with the palms of his hands, Jacey sighed. Having been working on paperwork for the past two hours, he suddenly found that he could think anymore. Sitting in his office of the second floor of the Poisson Apple Inn, Jacey figured it was just about time to take a walk. Pushing a hand through his dark hair Jacey was dressed in his normal attire - A pair of dark semi baggy jeans and a black t-shirt.
Deciding the paperwork would have to wait until later to be finished, Jacey pushed his chair back from the desk a stood up. Stretching, he was slightly stiff from sitting to long. Quickly putting all the papers into a neat pile, Jacey walked out the door of his office. Looking the door behind himself, Jacey wandered down the stairs and into the bar. Things were chaotic as always, but Jacey really didn't want them anyway else.
Looking toward the bar, Jacey noticed that it was the most busy tonight, and it seemed only one person was working. Jacey rolled his eyes, he could never trust anyone to show up for work on time lately. Deciding to deal with the person who was late later, Jacey made his way behind the bar to help out. Slowly making his way down the long bar getting people drinks as he went, Jacey finally stopped in front of a girl around the same age as his sister with black and silver hair.
"Can I help you?" Jacey asked tossing the girl a small smile. Drumming his fingers lightly against the top of the bar, Jacey waited for an answer.

Zara saw the owner making his way down the bar slowly. He eventually got to Zara. She returned his smile with her own. "I was wondering if you had any part time jobs going." Zara said to him, getting straight to the point. She hated beating around the bush.

Looking the girl over, Jacey decided she didn't look any older than his sister. "We always have the need for new and willing help," Jacey said. "How old are you? 17?" He asked not sure if the girl was younger than that or not.
"Part time eh?" Jacey echoed in a question. Drumming his fingers lightly against the top of the bar again he thought for a moment. "What type of job would you be looking for?" Jacey asked. "Working the bar, busing tables or what?" Waiting for an answer, Jacey remained quiet.

She watched Jacey as he looked over her and asked about her age, "I' 16 actually, will be turning 17 soon though." Zara said. She watched the guy drum his finger against the table top lightly. She listened to his next question and answered. "I don't really mind. I'd do anything." she said. Zara wasn't really fussed as long as she knew she had a job.

Jacey considered what Zara had just told him. Sure she was only 16, but Jacey figured if she was willing to work, then why not let her? "How about the bar," Jacey said after a moment. "It's the busiest. But I might need you to do other things from time to time," Jacey said. "If you could work any day from Friday to Sunday each week that would be great. As they are the busiest days here. Also, my sister works those days, so I could get her to help you out on those days until you get used to working here." Jacey paused. "As long as you're fine with that, then you can start this week," he added. Waiting for the girl sitting across from him to say something, Jacey let his eyes travel around the tavern making sure nothing was going terribly wrong.

"Yeah, I can work any of hose days, any time." she told Jacey. She had met Kirsten briefly and she seemed interesting and nice. Zara wouldn't mind working with her. She looked at Jacey as he said she could start this week. "Seriously? Thanks, thank you so much." Zara said with a wide smile. Jacey didn't know how much he had just helped her.
