Walking down the roads of downtown pairs, Crystal McTavish held her five year old son by the hand. Looking down at him she smiled, he was holding a chocolate ice cream in the other hand, and Crystal was sure he had more of it on him then in him. Laughing quietly, Crystal couldn't help but be thankful for Bradley's presence in her life. In all honesty, without him, Crystal wasn't sure where she would be today. "Buddy, you're a mess!" Crystal said with a small laugh. Shaking her head as Brad looked up at her with a so what look, she couldn't help but smile.
Crystal continued to lead Brad down the long street not really looking for anything in particular. Glancing into window as she passed them, Crystal saw somethings that she liked and others she didn't. Dressed in a pair of faded dark jeans that fit her perfectly, and a white turtleneck, Crystal wore a black leather jacket over top. Her long red hair was down and blowing in the cool breeze. Considering it was late August, Crystal found it to actually be rather cold. However, there wasn't a clod in the sky, so she didn't really know why it was so cold out.
Turning left at the next street, Crystal headed toward the children's park in the center of the city. She knew Brad would be hyper after his ice cream, and she figured he would need to be somewhere he could run and play, and where better than at the park. Looking down at Brad, Crystal noticed he was about halfway down his ice cream and, was incredibly messy - but then again he was five, who could blame him? Crystal and Brad had been out shopping - well window shopping all morning, and Crystal was very glad that Brad was being as well behaved as he was. Normally he would have been starting to get bored of shopping by now, and be getting rather distracted by other things going on around him.
Brad was dressed in a pair of jeans, and wore a red shirt with a black hooded sweater over top of that. To block the wind, the small five year old boy wore a jean jacket that matched his jeans - though that was probably the last thing on his mind. All Brad could think about right now was the ice cream dripping down his small hand and going to the park. After all, his mommy had promised him that if he were good, that she would take him to the park. So naturally, Brad had been on his best behavior all day, and really hopped his mommy would take him to the big kids park so he could go down the big kids slide and swing on the tire swing.
Holding his mommy's hand. Brad took a big lick of his ice cream, but as he did so, he managed to get more of it on his nose. Sticking his tung out, Brad tried to lick the chocolate off of his nose. Not being able to do that, Brad crossed his eyes trying to see where the dreaded ice cream was. Deciding it wasn't worth trying to get the ice cream off of his nose at that moment, Bradley went back to eating the ice cream in his hand... which was now dripping up his arm even more.
Looking down at Brad as he slowed down a bit, Crystal noticed he was trying to lick is nose. Smiling, she wasn't quiet sure what to make of his quirky attitude. But that didn't matter, she loved him to death, so she didn't really care what Brad was doing so long as he was safe and alright. "You mister," Crystal said looking down at Brad who had now finished his ice cream, but was a tremendous sticky mess. "Cannot touch anything until we find somewhere to get you cleaned up," Crystal said not bothering to hide the amusement in her voice. She knew there would be a bathroom at the park, so she wasn't to worried. Shaking her head, Crystal walked through the gates into the park. Laughing as Bradley realized where they were and started to bounce up and down. "Ok, Ok," she said smiling. "You can go play as soon as we find somewhere to get you washed up." Crystal said scanning the park for a washroom.
