Wyatt walked out onto the beach wearing only his bathing suit and a tan top. He breathed in the fresh scent of the water and the sand and layed down on a dry patch of sand a few feet from the point where the farthest wave had reached. He sat up and took of the shirt he had been wearing, all of a sudden finding quite uncomfortable. he stay sitting up for a moment gazing out onto the horizen where the sky and the water seemed to meet.

It was a nice day out, and Becca didn't really feel like staying inside. She hadn't seen her twin at all that day and wondered what it was she was doing. After a few hours of wondering, and trying to find her twin Becca gave up and returned to her dorm room. She changed in to her bathing suit, and put a mini skirt on over top. Heading out of the common room she made her way down to the beach.
Starting at the side closest to the school, Becca walked alone the beach allowing only her feet to be in the water. She had her sun glasses on, and her brown-reddish hair was blowing slightly in the wind. Making her way down the beach Becca spotted Wyatt sitting alone. She smiled as walked closer to where he was sitting.
"Hey Wyatt, " she said in a flirtatious way. Smiling at him she continued to speak, "Nice day out, isn't it?" she asked, trying to start a conversation. Becca had a reputation around the school, that mostly everyone knew her to be a flirt, and that she was always around guys. She didn't really mind it, she simply had a good reason for it. She couldn't really stand being around a group of girls and had much more fun with guys.

"Hey Rebecca," Wyatt smiled as his friend joined him. "Yea it's a beautiful day," he agreed looking first to Rebecca as he spoke then out to the water for a moment before again turning his attention to Rebecca, "So, what brings you out here?" he asked more for the sake of continuing the small talk than for actually wondering. Since it was such a nice day out why wouldn't anyone want to be out enjoying it?

Becca smiled at him as he asked her what brought her outside, "Well nothing really, i think just my love for being outside, and on the beach." she told him, which was true. "And also because i gave up on trying to friend my sister, and didn't feel like sitting inside." she added. "And you, what brings you out here?" she asked in return.
Becca made her way out of the water, and up next to Wyatt, she sat down next to him in the sand. Turning her head so that she was looking at him. Like always she had a smile on.

"I just love the beach. Everything about it, the sun, the sand, the water. I actually want to live in a house right on the water, that way whenever I wanna go to the beach all I have to do is go out into my back yard," Wyatt said looking at Rebecca and smiling. Owning a beach front house had been a dream of his for quite sometime now, he knew such a house would be expensive, but he intended on becoming famous for one thing or another so getting the money wouldn't be a problem for him.

Listening to what Wyatt was telling her, Becca couldn't help but think that that was one more thing they had in common. They both wanted to live in a beach house. "I've always wanted to live in one too, i mean don't get me wrong, i love my house, but it's always been one of my dreams too." she paused and continued to smile.
"I've been saving my money so that one day i can buy my own, i know it might sound a bit crazy, but it's true, and my parents always told me to try and achieve my dreams in life." she told him then let her eyes wonder out on to the water. Becca couldn't help but think that Wyatt probably thought she was a crazy little girl, with way to big of dreams now, but there was nothing she could do about it now.

"I don't think your crazy," Wyatt smiled, "Actually, your plan seems a whole lot more practical than mine...I just plan on becoming rich and famous in one way or another, so money wouldn't even be a problem," he said realizing it sounded like a childish dream to become rich and famous and live in a beach house, but his parents had always told him he could do anything he put his mind to and he believed it was true.
"I actually have been putting aside alittle money as well though...you know kinda as a back up, just in case the whole rich and famous thing never works out, at least I'll be able to achieve one of my dreams," he added smiling.

Becca couldn't help but smile. To here it seemed that Wyatt had his mind on one thing, and was sticking to it. Much like herself. "ya always good to have a back up plan." she told him in agreement. The wind was blowing her hair in her face, though she didn't mind, but it was getting rather annoying. Taking one of her little hands, Becca removed her hair from in front of her face, and continued to look at Wyatt.
"So, anything else we might have in common that we don't know about?" she asked with a cute little smile, as she leaned back on her hands. She knew Wyatt because they were same year, and had the same classes, but she never actually took the time to hang out, and talk like they were doing now. She couldn't understand why she hadn't before.

Wyatt smiled, "Um, I dunno, maybe...what's your favoriet color?" he asked. It was a stupid question he knew, but it was the first one he thought of and it just kind of came out.
He looked out to the water and then back at Rebecca, he'd never really noticed it before, but she was pretty cute. Wyatt was actually somewhat surprised that he and Rebecca had never hung out before, although his first few years he'd spent most his time in the library reading. But he decided after a moments thought that this was definatly better than books.

Becca smiled at his question, she didn't think it was stupid, she thought it was rather cute. "My favorite color eh?" she stated like an echo. "Well i think it would have to be blue." she told him truthfully with a smile. "and yours?" she asked in return.
Sitting in the sand, leaning back on her hands, she smiled at him as she waited for his answer, and maybe his next question. Looking out on to the water, then back at Wyatt, Becca was trying to take in as much as she could from this day. She was really enjoying her time she was spending with him and thought she should have gotten to know him earlier. Though Becca couldn't tell what he was thinking about when he went quiet, she still knew he was thinking about something, just like herself. She couldn't help to think about Wyatt, he was a nice guy, and he was pretty good looking too. She simply just sat there and smiled.

"Mines blue too," Wyatt said smiling, "but not just blue, it has to be like dark blue...like when you look up at a night time sky and it all looks black, but then you look at the moon and you can see the sky around the moon isn't black, just a nice deep blue color," he added explaining his choice. He wanted to justify his choice, so Rebacca wouldn't think he was just copying her answer so that they'd have something in common. Although that was partially what he was doing since he had a few colors he liked, including the dark blue he'd described to Rebacca, he had just never chosen a favorite.
"Hmmm...what else could I ask," Wyatt said thinking out loud so that Rebecca would here him. "Any ideas?" he asked his face showing that he was unable to think of anything and he was hoping Rebecca would be able to think of something.

Listening closely as Wyatt explained to her his favorite color, she smiled. "So basically it's the blue i see everynight, when i'm out here, usually alone, wastching the stars?" she asked just to make sure she understood him.
"Next question eh?" she stated more to her self then him. "How about....." she paused as she tried to finish her thought. "How about, hobbies? What do you like to do?" she asked him curious to know what he liked, maybe they had more in common that they didn't know about.

"oh, good one," Wyatt commented smiling. "Well let's see...I like reading and quidditch, those are two of my main intrests. I also like performing...you know acting, singing, dancing..." he paused for a second thinking of his other hobbies, "I like writing to; novels, poems, I'm even making an attempt to write a song, but that's going so well," he added smiling.
"Oh and I almost forgot I like watching the sunrise, and set, basically I just like looking at the sky...hey maybe I should join you in looking at the stars one night," he suggested remembering that she said she was usually alone when she did this. "So how bout you? What are your hobbies?" he asked intersted to see if they liked doing the same things.

Becca smiled as he told her his hobbies. She couldn't help but shake her head a bit at some of them as they were the same as hers, and she wasn't just saying that. "Oh my gosh, i love to perform too, " she said. "I love to sing and dance, and act, it's like my best god given talent." she smiled, as she was being completely honest with him. "O well I'm sure you'll get it some day, " she said as he said that he was trying to write a song. "She was now curious to read some of his work, not that he had mentioned what he like to write.
"Ya i love watching the Sun raise, and sun set too, but I'm normally up normally in time to see the sun raise." she told him, normally she would be out late the night before at a friends or at a party.
"Well i also like to have lots of fun, i love spending time with friends, and i like to go to parties." she told him, " i like sports, but I'm not the greatest at quidditch." she added. "i also love to do photography, and making scrap books, i find pictures are very fascinating to look at." she told him. Becca loved to take pictures of basically anything she thought was a good picture. Back home she has boxes and boxes full of them.

"I like taking pictures too, though I'm not very good at it. And I don't really party, but that's usually because I never know when anyones having a party," Wyatt said smiling. He was unable to think of another question to ask but wanted to continue talking to Rebecca, "It's pretty weird that weve never hung out before...I mean we have alot in common," he said.
It did seem a bit strange that the two of them had not begun talking earlier, but Wyatt knew why this was. First of all they were in different houses, so when they would see each other it would be in class where Wyatt would usually sit away from her, not intentionally of course that would just be what happened, so they had been on friendly terms and knew who each other were, but up until today had never really had a meaningful conversation.
