Daphne had been looking around for people from Hogwarts but hadn't seen many. She could walk up to Hermoine but she would probably be ignored. She mainly looked for Draco but didn't think he came yet.
She squished her toes into the fine sand and looked out into the lake. It was a nice day, fine for swimming or surfing, She didnt have a board or a bathing suit so she stayed on the sand and waited for someone to come along and save her from boredness.
