The forest was thick and dense, allowing only a little bit of sunlight to filter through. The beams that did took on a rather green appearance, and cast delicate latticework on the otherwise smooth ground. Peeking through the trees, one could see various spots of blue sky. It was cool and dark under the canopy of trees, just the way Aiden liked it. Long ago he had perfected staying in the shadows, moving like water, and being unnoticed.
His long black hair hit his collar bones, smooth and rather shiny. Cold and rather haunted brown eyes peeked out, ringed with ashen circles from not sleeping. Aiden's skin was pale, almost milk white, and emitted some sort of glow it seemed. To those with his same interests, Aiden was probably rather handsome, and even those that didn't share the same interests found his handsome.
His movement was graceful and fluid, odd for a guy really. On the outside, he seemed rather fragile. However, if you looked closely, his cold eyes burned with a fire of hatred. He was just wandering, really. There wasn't much point to it. Occasionally, he would start to sing. It was a soft sort, lilting and smooth. He wasn't in the mood to scream yet, his voice was too raw from his last outburst. Casually, his hand swayed beside him. The other one was tucked into his pocket, long fingers wrapped around a wand. You never knew about this place, and Aiden was one to always be ready.
Dead leaves crunched under his smooth walk. Aiden tossed a glance over his shoulder. To him, everything seemed to be moving in slow motion. The tall trees that lined the walkway, the greenish sunlight, and the slight breeze that ruffled the plant life seemed to move slower than normal. Everything looked darker to him as well, but such things are that way with Aiden. He's a rather haunted youth, cool on the exterior and frigid on the inside.
((OoC: It's open, but it's not my best post. I couldn't get it to flow properly))

Zara was on her broom. After one disaterous meeting with another student, she decided flying would help lift her spirits....literally. She had left her black and silver hair out, half of it covering her face. Her blue eyes was misty. She was dressed in her usual dark clothes.
As she flew amongst the trees she saw another person in the forest. Zara tried her hardest not to make a sound, not wanting to startle the person. It was his voice that drew Zara to him. The voice was so haunting, drwing Zara to him. There were not many Temeraus students that would sing. She had seen him about the castle before. Zara was sure he was in the year above her.
Zara flew a little lower to get a closer look at the boy. He seemed pale, and loked as if he hadn't slept in a while. Zara wondered what he was doing in the forest. Not many students, even Temeraus, would venture into the Wood of Wolves. Those who did come into the wood, would usually leave injured. She remembered the nurse complaining once, about 'Stupid students who agree on silly dare.'
Zara flew ahead and landed quietly in a clearing she knew of. All of a sudden she had felt guilty. It was like invading the boy's privacy. Zara sat on the earth cross legged. She closed her eyes slowly, and just took in the peace and quiet.

His eyes strayed and started looking around him. Aiden was looking at them, but he wasn't taking in their appearance. He wasn't taking in the gnarled bark of ancient trees, the thick green leaves full of life and health, or anything that surrounded him. The singing deep in his throat stopped as he neared a clearing and saw another person.
Aiden approached the clearing cautiously, keeping the smooth and cold exterior, and took in her apperance. He'd seen her before, somewhere throughout the castle, but he had never spoken to her. Aiden had never really spoken to any, actually. Something told him that she was in his house.
His feet led him even closer to the girl. Aiden looked at her for a minute, glacial eyes from behind a black curtain of hair, and nodded. It was his way of acknowledging her. In some cases, depending on who he was around, it was a sign saying that he wouldn't hurt her.

The voice that was singing seemed to be getting closer. Zara felt someone else's presence in the clearing. She was hoping that no one would find her. She slowly opened her eyes and looked at the boy. He seemed quiet and reserved. He nodded at her and Zara gave a small nod back saying, "Hello." in her soft voice. She then slowly introduced herself, "I'm Zara O'Riley."
A soft breeze picked the leaves of the ground, and Zara straightened up as the coolness hit her back. The breeze son passed as her different coloured eyes were still locked on the boy.

The breeze that blew past the girl soon hit Aiden in the face. It made his black hair blow and tangle. He stopped walking and turned to stare at the girl. Her eyes were locked on him, so Aiden locked his cold brown eyes on her. She introduced herself as Zora. It was only polite for him to introduce himself back, and Aiden's parents had always made sure he was a polite little boy. Zora was in his house. It didn't mean that Aiden trusted her, but it gave her the security of knowing that Aiden wouldn't harm her or he excessivly rude.
With a small incline of his head, Aiden spoke with his accent flitting over the words, "Aiden Moor, nice to meet you." Aiden didn't know if it was nice to meet her, but he was curious. "What are you doing here?" he asked in his normal cold quiet voice. Zora had been saved from the normal icyness for he had toned it down a bit in her presence.

Zara nodded as he introduced himself. Zara smiled smally she liked the name Aiden. Tearing her gaze away from him she answered his question, "A bad run in with some fellow students." she said simply. "Mind if I asked you the smae question?"

Aiden cast her one of his trademark lopsided grins. It made his lip peircings flash and tinkle. "Just getting out. The walls of this place suffocate me. I can only handle so much." Being in a place full of people made Aiden uncomfortable and nervous. He often took walks like this, though this was further than he had originally meant to go. Also, people made him angry. Usually he would come out here and scream to a muggle band he loved. Today it was more of a softer tune.

"I know what you mean," she said playing with her hands. "They say that the school is safe, but to be honest, I feel unsafe there, and safe outside." She knew that probably didn't make any sense what so ever, but it made sense to her. She tlooked up at Aiden, "I've seen you around the school. What year are you in?" she asked politely.

Aiden had to agree with the girl. It was just so hard for him to be surrounded by people and walls. Aiden had never gotten on with people. They stared, pointed, or were just generally rude to him. As for the walls, for a boy desiring freedom this whole place was a prison.
Zora posed a question for him, but he waited a few minutes after she asked to answer. Aiden didn't know why he did this, but it was often something he did. "I'm in the Seventh year. What year are you in?" It was only polite in his mind to ask her the same question he was just asked.

Zara heard Aiden ask her the same question. "I'm in my sixth year." she told him quietly. Now she knew she had seen Aiden about. Zara wasn't one to just get up and talk to people, and Aiden didn't look the sort either. Plus if he spent more time in the Commons Zara would barely know him as she spent nearly all free time outside.
