Wyatt headed into the library, which of course was not unusual for him. He breathed deeply as he entered taking in the amazing aroma of thoundsands of books just waiting to be read. He smiled kindly to the librarian and headed over to a nearby book shelf. He scanned the many titles pulling out a few that looked interesting. He picked up his small stack of books whick consisted of 2 spell books, a potions book, and a book about Dragon breeding. He carried the books over to an empty table in the front of the library. He looked over the books deciding that he would start with the potions book, as that was one of his weaker subjects. Wyatt leaned back in his chair and attempted to put his feet up on the table but missed causing him to fall backwards out of the chair and onto the floor. He stayed on the floor feeling his cheeks turn red with embarassment. The saddest part was, this wasn't the first time something like this had happened to him.

Having needed to escape everyone and everything that was around her, Emmy had decided to go to the Library. Nobody went there anyways, so the quiet would give her a chance to think. Today, Emmy wore a pair of light blue jeans with a big grey hooded sweater pulled over a green t-shirt. Her hair was pulled up in a loose bun with pieces falling out to frame her small face.
Having been sitting at the back of the library, Emmy was unaware of the fact that Wyatt had wandered into the large room filled with thousands of books. Closing her eyes, Emmy rubbed her hands across her eyes sighing quietly. She had chosen a book when she had entered that looked interesting but it seemed as if she had been reading the same line over and over again and not getting anywhere.
As she heard the sound of something falling to the ground, Emmy's eyes shot open as she scanned the room for the cause. Her eyes found the familiar figure of Wyatt O'Riley laying on the ground. She smiled closing the book she still help in her hands. Putting the book down on the table, Emmy stood up and made her way over to where Wyatt was.
"You ok?" The small blond asked looking down at Wyatt. Pushing a hand through her long hair, Emmy was having a hard time hiding the smile that was tugging at the corners of her light pinks lips. Wordlessly, Emmy waited for his answer.

"Um...yea, I'm fine," Wyatt said trying to hide the pain in his voice as he got back up. As he picked up the chair he could feel his cheeks turn ever redder with embarrassment. "It actually happens all the time," he added smiling.
He was about to sit back down in his chair when he realized he wasn't much in the mood for reading anymore. "Um, seeing as we're the only two in here, would you like to join me?" he asked motioning to the empty chair next to his.

Emmy smiled as Wyatt said that falling off chairs happened all the time. "Don't worry I probably fall more than you," Emmy said shrugging her thin shoulders lightly. "In fact just this morning a fell down the stairs. But don't tell my sister I don't think she would ever let me live it down. And I still fall out of bed," Emmy admitted with a shy smile.
As Wyatt asked if she would like to join him, Emmy smiled. "Sure," she answered taking the seat next to his. "You sure you're ok though?" Emmy asked not all that sure if Wyatt was ok or not. She herself knew from experience that falling backward in a chair hurt - especially when you hit your head.

Wyatt smiled as Emily told him she had fallen down the stairs, he was glad to know he wasn't the only uncoordinated person in the school.
"Yea I'm fine," Wyatt said reassuringly, rubbing the back of his head quickly as if this would fix any injury he may have had. He was glad to see that Emily was concerned about his safety, it was stupid, but he just thought it was nice of her to come over and see that he was alright. "So...what's up?" he asked a little embarrassed that he had asked Emily to sit with him and this was the best way he could think of to start there conversation.

Emmy smiled as Wyatt said that he really was ok. Watching as he rubbed the back of his head and wondered if the little tumble had done anything. However she wouldn't ask again as Wyatt had said that he was fine and she believed him.
"Not much," Emmy answered after a moment. "Just trying to escape my sister and father if just for a little while," she said. "They've been driving my slightly crazy," she added shrugging her thin shoulders lightly. The sound of the Library door opening and closing caught Emmy's attention. Her blue eyes flicked in the direction of the door but seeing it was nothing of importance, she returned her gaze to Wyatt.
"How about you?" Emmy questioned lamely not really sure what else to say. Pushing a stray piece of hair behind her ear, Emily waited for Wyatt's answer.

"Not too much...just trying to keep my balence," Wyatt said smiling. "And from the looks of it, I'm not doing a very good job," he added. "You said your sister and dad were driving you crazy, just usual family stuff or what?" He asked not really having much else to say.
Wyatt hoped that Emily would not find his question to be too intrusive, but he was curious. He would understand of course if she didn't want to talk about and would be more than glad to change the subject, as long as she provided the new topic.

Emmy giggled slightly at Wyatt's comment about trying to keep his balance. "Well I'm sure you'll find your center of gravity somewhere," Emmy said teasingly with a small smile. As Wyatt asked why her sister and dad were driving her crazy, Emmy sighed quietly.
"I guess you can say it's just normal family stuff," Emmy said frowning slightly. "My dad wants me to be something I'm not and never will be. And as for my sister, I just need some space to do my own stuff you know? It's not like I don't like spend time with them. I do, it's just sometimes they like to get in my bubble and not let me doing anything," Emmy said trying to explain. "But whatever it's no major deal," Emmy said shrugging her shoulders lightly again.
"So how was your summer?" Emmy asked looking for another topic that would bring the conversation off of her. Crossing her legs under the table, Emmy leaned back slightly in the chair waiting for Wyatt's answer.

"So how bout you how was your summer?" he asked.

Listening to what Wyatt was saying, Emmy smiled. His summer seemed so less chaotic then hers. As Wyatt said that he had celebrated his birthday, Emmy smiled once again. As the boy sitting beside her asked her how her summer was, Emmy sighed quietly.
"Busy," Emmy responded instantly, with a shy smile. "I spent three weeks at a summer camp where I had to make sure I didn't use any of my magic as I was surrounded by over three hundred muggles - You see my mum and dad are both Halfbloods and they thought it would be a good idea for my to get to know some other muggles a part from my family," Emmy said as is explain why she would be at a camp.
"And then I spent another two weeks in Romania visiting one of my uncles," Emmy said with yet another small smile. Shrugging her shoulders lightly she let the smile continue to tug gently at the corners of her light pink lips. "I didn't really spend much time at home actually..." Emmy trailed off not sure what else to say.
Feeling rather awkward just sitting there, Emmy decided to talk again. "You wanna go swimming?" Emmy asked suddenly. She knew it was rather random, but she couldn't think of anything else. "Or if you don't want to go swimming we could just go outside for a walk or something..." Emmy trailed off once again. Unlike her sister, she sometimes found herself quieter around guys- even if she had known them for a while.

"Swimming sounds like fun," Wyatt said smiling. He enjoyed swimming and it had been a while since he had last gone, so it sounded like a good idea.

John had been heading for the library to see what he could find. Soon he was walking through the huge lines of books. He was just excited to see if he could find anything on muggles. Since he has no idea about them since none of his family had been near muggles.
Though he was looking for books he heard people talking. His dark brown eyes saw Emmy and some other guy. He smiled a bit then just walked on by not bothering to stop. It seemed that she was really busy with the other guy..maybe studying.
Soon he stopped by some more books to see what he could find.

Emmy smiled as Wyatt said that going swimming sounded like fun. "Well c'mon then," she said pushing her chair back from the table. Standing, the small blond noticed John walk into the library. Though, by the looks of things, he didn't notice her there - but then again why would he? It wasn't as if she was that important... no matter how much she wished.
Turning her attention back to Wyatt, Emily was glad she had decided to wear her bathing suit underneath her clothes today, but for some reason, she was double thinking the white and blue flowered bikini. But then again she didn't know why. Pushing her chair in, Emmy started to walk backward waiting for Wyatt to join her. As she passed the row of books where John was standing, she tossed him a small smile. She wondered whether he would follow them or if he would just stay in the Library.
"C'mon Wyatt I'll race ya," Emmy challenged turning back to look at Wyatt. She smiled waiting for his answer, all the time ready to take off running if he decided to accept her challenge.

"Alright let's go," Wyatt said smiling as he took off running as he reached where Emily was standing. He was fast, but he intended on letting Emily beat him in the race, but he needed to make it look like he tried,

Emmy laughed as Wyatt caught up with her and accepted the challenge of racing. Smiling she turned around running after him. The small blond was pretty fast, and she hoped that Wyatt just wouldn't let her win, that would be no fun. And after all wasn't the point of racing to race? Blond hair flying behind her, Emmy caught up to Wyatt. Running beside him she smiled looking over at him. "You better not just let me win," she said teasingly, the smile still tugging at the corners of her pink lips.
