Laying in the sand

"thanks," Wyatt smiled. He was glad he had decided to wear these shoes. "I like your flip flops," he added smiling. He had totally forgotten about his shirt and it didn't really matter.

Becca smiled as he said he liked her flip flops, "Thanks, " she said. "This ones are my blue ones. I have a pair in just about every colour." she smiled. It was true, she did have a pair in just about every color. "I know kind of pathetic, but oh well i love shoes." she added with another smile. "I alos like jewlery, and other accessories. But shoes are my favorite. How about you, what do you like?" she asked, curious to know.

"I actually like shoes too, well I like them more then most guys, I like clothes too. Um, I like sunglasses, and hats, although I don't where thenm that often," Wyatt said smiling. He loved to buy hats even though he rarely wore them.

As Wyatt talked, Becca smiled and continued to think. She was thinking about how much they really did have in common and how it was rather retarded that they hadn't hung out before. As they continued to walk, Becca couldn't help but to still think about him. As he finished, as she had no idea of what to say back, she remained quiet for a few minutes.

"Wyatt where exactly are we going?" she asked, cause she didn't know other then the fact that they were going to star gaze. At Beauxbatons there were many good places to star gaze, and she didn't know which one he was taking her too.

"Were going there," Wyatt said pointing to a hill about 200 meters in front of them. "The grass on the top is so soft. That's what makes it such a great spot for star gazing," He added smiling. he had only been there star gazing once but, he had spent many a saturday just laying alone in the soft grass.

Becca smiled as he showed her where they were going. "Ok, looks good to me." she replied. Unconsciously she moved closer to Wyatt, and they continued to walk. She looked at him, then back down at the ground. A million thoughts kept running through her mind. But not one thing, did she know the answer too.

As they came closer to the hill, the smile was still playing on her soft pink lips, just like it had been the whole day. She unconsciously moved closer to him again as they continued to walk.

Wyatt looked at Rebecca and smiled as they walked. And it may have just been him, but it seemed that she was moving closer to him, not that he minded. He was actually wondering if he liked him...I mean it seemed like she did, but ever since the complete embarassment he suffered after he told his prevoius crush how he felt only to find that she wasn't interested in him, he has been second guessing himself on everything.

Wyatt kept glancing down at Rebecca's hand, he wanted to just hold her hand as they walked, but was afraid of how she'd react. Finally they reached the top of the soft grassy hill. "lay down," he instructed as he layed down himself on the lush green grass looking at Rebecca waiting for her to lay down as well.

As they reached the top of the hill Becca smiled as she watched Wyatt lie down, she smiled as to what he stated to her. In her mind she had a few things still running through it. But at what he just said she could be a little fun or just not say anything at all. She wasn't sure how Wyatt would take it if she were to say what was on her mind.

As she stood beside him she smiled down at him, then layed down beside him. Becca layed down really close to Wyatt without even knowing it. Though she didn't really care. She did like him, and to her it did seem that he liked her too. She wanted to move closer to him, but wasn't sure how he would react.

"Wow, the stars are really bright tonight," she stated, then turned her head to face Wyatt, and smiled. Becca placed her hand close to his, but not touching. She didn't do anything else just yet, as she was trying to think of what to do, or say.

"Your really beautiful, you know that?" Wyatt said smiling as he turned to face her. It was a thought that had been runningthrough his mind all day and it had actually just slipped out of his mouth, but he was glad it had. He was making it obvious that he liked her, but he didn't care it was time he took a chance and told a girl how he felt, rather than hide his crush for 6 months when she would end up with a boyfriend.

Becca was caught a bit of gaurd at what Wyatt just told her. Though she didn't mind hearing what he had to say. Smiling at him, she was speechless for a few minutes. "Thanx, " she said in return. It was now obvious to her that Wyatt did in fact like her. This made her happy.

Becca moved a bit closer to Wyatt and gently kissed his cheek, then layed her head back down on the grass. She remainded quiet, and she simply just looked up at the stars for the time being.

Wyatt smiled as he felt Rebecca kiss his cheek and he could feel himself blushing a little. He looked over at Rebecca to see she had already turned back to the stars, so he did like wise.

Wyatt sat there thinking for a moment or two, just watching the sky. "Well, I thinking you already guessed it, but just in case you haven't, I like you," he said eyes still fixated on the stars above. He turned to Rebecca to watch her response.

As she watched the stars in silence as she listened to Wyatt talk again, she smiled once again at what she had heard. Turning her head over to look at Wyatt for a second, then she returned her gaze to the sky. "I figured, no offence, " she smiled, "But it's ok, cause i like you too, " she said then turned her gaze back at him. After saying that she remained quiet again.

"Really?" Wyatt asked half shocked thogh he probably shouldn't have been. "So, what does this mean?" he asked after a moments pause, he'd never told a girl he liked her, well atleast not one that liked him back.

Still gazing up at the stars, Becca had to think about his question. What did it mean? she couldn't think of anything. "I don't know, " she said with a tone of unsureness then turned to face Wyatt. She had a few things running trew her mind, but didn't really want to say anything, just in case he wasn't thinking about it.

If Wyatt were to ask her out, before answering him she would have to talk with her sister, manly just to make sure that she thinks it's a good idea or not. But knowing Becca even if Emmy didn't aprove of it she would say yes anyways.

"Well, we both like each other, right? So, maybe we should try going on a date...or wait is this a date?" Wyatt asked very awkwardly. It hadn't started as a date, or atleast he hadn't thought it did, but I mean what else would you call when to people who are attracted to each other go stargazing together?

Was Wyatt even ready for a relationship? He was still struggling with his break up over the summer with the girl he had thought he was meant to be with. Did Rebecca want a relationship? He knew she liked him, but liking someone and wanting to have an exclusive relationship with someone were to different things. So, many Questoins were running through wyatt's head he would need answers from Rebecca before he could answer most of them.
